Ben wound down his tenure with his old soccer team with a couple of final events. On July 8, he went out in style, helping a trimmed-down version of the old team win their division in the 4v4 McSoccerFest Tournament.
Then just last night, he went to a DC United game on Virginian Champions night and got a chance to pose with the MLS trophy as a reward for playing on one of the tournament’s championship teams.
In between events, he participated in a 3-day soccer camp run by Chelsea FC’s youth coaches. He garnered an honor there as well, receiving an autographed ball in recognition of his play. He was pretty excited about that one!
