Finally, an overcast day! Even though this Sunday’s game was during the dreaded noon hour, the pictures came out much better. I got a little careless at the end and didn’t watch my shutter speed, which fell as the clouds got darker, but pictures were still passable.
And oh yes, the boys won, making the 90 minute drive less painful.

Two things: First, you captured the essence of competition. While the pros say winning is everything, playing hard is just as critical to growing minds and bodies.
Second, photography is much, much improved. I see now the photo definition when conditions are to the liking of both the photographer and of course the camera.
