Although I hate to do it, I had to shoot into the sun today given the field’s layout. It was tough, and my lens seemed to hunt more for focus but I made the best of it. Thank goodness for post-processing software and the ability to reduce shadows. It was probably a good thing I stayed down at our half of the spectator area, as the game got quite heated in the second half with the boys coming back from a 3-2 deficit at the half to pull at a 6-3 win. The referee didn’t call many fouls at all and the game got rather physical. I’m pretty sure the official knew how the sidelines felt about his management of the game!
