I’m back to shooting soccer again, in the natural light. I’m rusty after shooting basketball all winter, but no matter, it’s still much much better than shooting indoors! Ben’s team had a pre-season tournament this past weekend, which almost got rained out. But the organizers shortened games on Saturday, and then salvaged a few of the older age groups to play on turf on Sunday, and Ben’s team was one of the lucky few. They were one goal away from making the finals, which was a bit frustrating, but it worked out ok. That meant that we had no conflicts with Kate’s swim practice and gave Ben time to finish his homework. So here’s to soccer season!
Suddenly the boys seem like men. Either that or I’m gone much shorter. Last time I saw these boys, they were not quite as tall as I am. Now they probably tower over me.
Good to see them growing up healthy. May the goals be with them through the season!
